INITIATION

Learn to play golf for free (1 hour).
Sundays at 3.00pm (by appointment) and the 1^st Saturday of the month at 5.00pm.

Historically, grain, beetroot and peas were grown on these very lands. Today, high-quality fairways and greens cover the former agricultural estate. Quite a transformation!

At the border between the Flemish and Walloon regions, near Hannut, the Avernas Golf Club is a flat 9-hole English-style course, which is very pleasant to play. Regardless of your level or style of game, you will be in your element! With its excellent drainage, the course is perfectly adapted to the Belgian weather.

The ninth hole is the most tricky; it is a 383-metre par 4 on a slight dogleg. Its green, in front of the clubhouse, is defended by two challenging bunkers. 

The golf academy supports you throughout your whole learning process, whatever your level is.

And after your round, you’ll always be welcomed with a friendly smile in the clubhouse.
